Artistic Biography
Samira Darya sometimes fills her canvas with floral and bestial patterns, combining and developing them throughout the canvas, and in some cases, she paints strange creatures and Human figures. Creatures, each prowling or dancing and rejoicing to present the audience with a concept, drowning them in their action and behavior. She gathers whatever she likes and detests in a grotesque act and sometimes, along the way, draws herself beside them to present the audience with a way to penetrate the painter’s mind so they would experience what the artist is surrounded by, fighting with, suffering from or passing through.
