In a rapidly changing world, still-life is often regarded as a symbol of stagnation and immobility, as if it only exists on the margins of human life. In the upcoming exhibition, we explore the hidden layers of this stillness, where the silence of objects transforms into a meaning of life and existence itself.
“Housemate” reflects on the surrounding world, a search to find life where we least expect it. This exhibition, by questioning the nature of objects and their relationship with humans, invites us to a challenge: Is what we consider lifeless truly devoid of life? Or perhaps life, in hidden forms and dimensions, flows within these very objects. “Housemate” reminds us that life is not limited to visible movements; even within objects and still life, a kind of existence is concealed—a silent life that is intertwined with our own, coexisting with us as both a companion and a housemate.
