“Forty years ago, I made twenty ceramic sculptures in Isfahan. I gifted them to my friends in Tehran, and I gave some of them to a gallery director. I had no idea about their fate during and after the Revolution. Forty years later, Mr. Amirian, the director of the Iranshahr Gallery invited me to his office, where I was so surprised to see one of my old sculptures. It seems that one of them was still alive! Then I got the motivation to make some this new series of sculptures for this exhibition.”
