The collective unconscious holds a reservoir of invisible images that accompany us into the world, contributing to our perception of it. These images contain contents and potentials better known as patterns or archetypes. Throughout history, these archetypes have been represented through various symbols such as fish, embodying the archetype of the self, and Eros representing love. The symbolization of these archetypes has evolved over time, including contemporary representations such as pens or bubbles made of chemical and synthetic materials. Despite evolving representations, everyday objects continue to embody timeless and humble archetypal images that often remain concealed by the routines of daily life. Exploring these hidden dimensions of ordinary objects, my paintings present new perspectives and insights into the archetypal and mysterious aspects of the world surrounding us.
