Deeply influenced by Iranian cultural symbols and traditional artistic techniques, Aryanpour’s work fuses these approaches with an exploration of abstraction, creating compositions in which color, line and form are imbued with mysticism and suspense: shapes harmoniously morph and fuse into new forms that create parallels between the natural world and the conceptual realm.
By deconstructing reality Aryanpour emphasises the inherent gaps in human perception, questioning the philosophical and artistic ideal of finitude and perfection. For the artist, nothing is ever complete, reality is in a constant and never-ending state of flux and evolution. Aryanpour’s artworks are therefore “accidental events”, dynamic creations subject to change.
