In this collection, the road is no longer a path of arrival, but a ground of lingering. Here, asphalt ceases to be a line of passage and becomes a quiet surface a mirror
reflecting forgotten memories: a burned house on the horizon, a boat dried in the soil, a heavy cloud swallowing the boundary of dream and reality. Cars are still visible, but only as abandoned relics rusted memories of unfinished journeys, signs of travelers who never arrived. These roads hover between reality and sleep, both still and flowing; like an image glimpsed through water: faded, trembling and bitterer than reality itself. At times, watching these scenes awakens a sense of déjà vu:
the vague feeling of having lived inside an image seen somewhere before, yet absent from memory. The burned house, the lost boat, the silent road… all remnants of a distant dream. Here, movement has yielded to pause. Memories return as cloud, as smoke, as a faraway house not as events, but as intangible traces. Were they ever real? Or merely reflections in the mirror of imagination? These paintings attempt to hold moments without beginning or end:
images of objects without passengers, roads without destination and a silence suspended between metal, earth, and sky.
