Since its establishment in 2008, Aaran Gallery has curated outstanding exhibitions both within Iran and internationally. The gallery's primary focus is on fostering and promoting some of Iran's most forward-thinking emerging artists, typically aged between 25 and 40. Aaran Gallery is committed to showcasing authentic Iranian contemporary art, encapsulating its complexities and messages. The gallery is housed in a two-story office space on Karimkhan Avenue.
In 2015, Aaran Projects, the gallery's second space, was inaugurated. This additional venue is situated in the vibrant cultural hub of central Tehran, nestled amidst the city's main theaters. The building itself holds historical significance, being the third part of twin houses within a distinctive alley, originally designed by an Armenian architect in the 1930s.
